Railroads Mod for Farming Simulator 25
Locomotives for ZCA Railroads mod.
This is my attempt to make railroad mod. My inspiration was JWeezy, and wanted to make support mod for FDR Logging in FS25.
To place locomotive and train carts on track you need strength mod or use console command.
Important things:
- !!!don`t forget to unfold train and train cart after you place them on tracks!!!
- If you connect locomotive and few carts together and want to go around and connect locomotive from the other side - it won`t work due to how this game works. You need to disconnect every cart first, so they are separate, then you can connect loco from the other side
This is work in progress and beta release, feel free to post comments and bugs. Please consider making a donation, it took many hours to model and script the mod.

Love this mod so far. The only issue I'm running into is that I'm unable to use the Amtrack or the LDH 125. When I go to enter them, it puts my camera under the map, and I have to tab to another vehicle to get out. Also, I when I try to super strength those two it appears like they don't move but the object collides with everything around it. Not sure if it's a mod conflict or if I'm missing something. Thank you for any help!
did you try change camera with C button? You can run new save with only my mods and see if this bug also happen. This sounds like mod conflict
Good Morning, yes I've tried changing the camera and it doesnt do anything. I just went to single player and activated all the mods I have (alot) including the modded map and it works ok. Seems to only be happening on the dedicated server side. Pulled logs nothing yet. Going to keep looking

thanks, i see where is the problem. For temporary fix you can edit Amtrak .i3d file with notepad and change "../FS22_railroad_locomotives/Textures/dirt1.dds" to "Textures/dirt1.dds" i will update this in the next patch
Ended up finding out that course play was the issue at hand. For some reason its conflicting.

First thanks for the MOD absolutely love it, So single player and multiplayer on local machine I have zero issues, I recently added to dedicated server and the only Issue I have is I can't unfold the engine, the option isn't there. the turn on engine is there and works but the unfold is MIA, works great until I hit a curve lol..just curious if anyone else tried this

I dropped the server and went back to hosting on my other pc, but if I go that route again I will definitely send it to you.
I live the mod so far. Quick question. Is there a way to use the tracks that are already in a map and just place my own trains on them?
no. Game tracks are just decoration and have no physics.
Ok thats what I was thinking. That makes it a pain because "you don't own the land" that the tracks are on in most of the maps. Thanks!

will the mod get a updates soon? tracks seem to glitch out when place in some places and will we get a track the slope when making turn insterad of the track that its stright only?

AMTRAK GP38-2 IS PRETTY
In my case, everything is going great. The only thing is that the curves on the slopes cannot be placed, only on flat terrain, but I adapt new routes where I can in the Silverfores MPA. ❤️❤️😍😍👍👍👍👍👍
i`ll add some curved trucks for slopes at some point later, before that I'm trying to do it procedurally because i don`t like the idea of producing 50 placeables with different angles.
I am unable to unfold the trains
default key is X
Having the same issue also now. Yesterday X was working fine for me now unable too doesn't even show up in the help menu has an option to push X.

Hey just wanted to say i love the mod I've noticed though that after placing so many track pieces etc.. that it'll cause myself and other players to not be able to join a server saying compiling shaders and then sit at 100% load screen. and thank you for the awesome mod!!!
for straight track its better to use normal tracks not retractable, they have less polygons.
Most shaders i took from game, only amtrak, english electric and woodchips cart are custom textures. i`ll make in future paint variant with game shaders to save some V-ram

Hello I think with the LDH125 and the AMTRAK SW1500 must Another bell should be installed and it would be cool if they all had the AMTRAK horn and the hissing on the AMTRAK was made quieter, otherwise very good, I hope the translator did a good job XD I hope there will be more mods
